This place has earned its 3 star avg review.  There is nothing special or horrible about the place.

Just temper your expectations when you come.

There was no line or wait, and we had a party of 9.  Although that probably should been a sign when we showed up to eat at 6:30 on a Friday night.
Service was ok.  Our waiter was plenty nice.  A little lost, but nice.  Examples of "lost" -- he brought a 4 year old chocolate milk in a tall glass, instead of a kid's cup.  Not a solid move.  My wife ordered scallops with the mashed potatoes, and he tried to discourage the mashed potatoes b/c it took a while to make them, "it's an involved process" he explained.  It's mashed potatoes...if you haven't prepped them already, take 20 minutes and make some from scratch, it's not a big deal...at a RESTAURANT.  They did end up making the mashed potatoes, so that was nice of them.

The rest of the food was just ok.  Steak didn't have much flavor and my medium rare came out medium well.  Wasn't worth sending back.  Scallops were pretty small and probably came out of a frozen bag.   The other Dad in our group ordered the pork chop and said it was good, so I'll take his word on it.

Would we eat here again?  No.

I had the ribeye and it was super delicious! Baked potato was perfect and the vinaigrette dressing on the salad was very good, too.

The shrimp cocktail was good, but the french onion soup could have done with a little more flavor.

My husband ordered the flounder (fresh fish of the day) and said it was good!!

The wait staff was very friendly and the interior was pleasant and cozy.

There is a kids menu, too. We all enjoyed our dinner!! Thank you very much!!

Overall not bad...not good...but not bad.  A solid 3 star.  If you know your way around a kitchen, you could probably cook a better meal.
They seemed like they were going for a formal look but it ended up more casual, with customers wearing more flip flops and tshirts than dresses and collared shirts, but it's fine, nothing wrong with a relaxed atmosphere while on vacation.  Service was great but food was ok at best.  Our server was attentive, polite, and knowledgeable, just a nice man.  We got a Delmonico and a Filet with broiled shrimp and crab cake.  The steaks were cooked perfectly but had no real flavor. Shrimp was overcooked and chewy, hard to get down.  Crabcakes had more filler or breading than crab.  Neither of us finished our dry, bland, redskin potatoes.  The French onion soup and creamed spinach were actually good, best part of the meal, lol.  I got a glass of Cabernet which was really good too.  We decided to pass in dessert based on what we had so far.

I highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and courteous.  The seared tuna was wonderful and such a big fillet that I hated to not be able to finish it.  My husband had the prime rib and although he normally has it rare, they let us know it was not available so he had it medium rare which was fine! Wonderful food and wonderful environment.  Fresh bread was great as well!   I only wish we would have had room for made in house desserts

This restaurant tries to pass as fine dining establishment but I found it lacking.
The wait staff at times was mindful but other times lacking. For example, starting to serve the main course before clearing salad plates.
Also, the undercook the food. Both our table and another questioned the "medium well" food that was presented. It was medium rare.
